The car-free resort of Mürren is in the Lauterbrunnen valley at 1650 m above sea level.
You can reach Mürren from Lauterbrunnen with the mountain railroad BLM or from Stechelberg with the Schilthornbahn.
Arrival by train
From Bern via Thun and Spiez to Interlaken Ost. Change to the narrow-gauge railroad to Lauterbrunnen. Here change to the BLM (cable car and mountain train), which will bring you to Mürren via Grütschalp in about 20 minutes.
Arrival by car
Take the A6 Bern-Thun-Spiez freeway to Interlaken, exit Wilderswil / Grindelwald / Lauterbrunnen. A 20-minute drive through the Lütschinen valley will bring you to Stechelberg via Lauterbrunnen. Park here in the large parking lot of the Schilthornbahn. This will take you to Mürren in 12 minutes via Gimmelwald.
By foot in Mürren
The Haus Montana is located on the lower Dorfstrasse, about halfway between the stations of the BLM and the Schilthornbahn. Walking time is about 10 minutes each. Transport service for assistance if you are traveling with bags, is available (contact +41 33 855 24 80).
